Using this community space

Simple terms for shared action.

These ground rules keep petitions constructive, truthful and useful to the communities they concern.

Using the site

You may browse public pages and support an open petition for yourself. Submit accurate information, do not impersonate another person and do not use the service to harass, mislead or break the law.

Your contribution

You remain responsible for a statement you submit. When you choose to share it publicly, you give MUIZENBERG.africa permission to display, format and reproduce it as part of the petition and its community communications.

Moderation

We may hide a public name, statement or both when a submission contains abuse, hate speech, private information, spam or content that contradicts the supporter’s confirmed action. Hiding public content does not normally remove a confirmed signature from the supporter total. We may exclude an entire signature where there is evidence of fraud, impersonation or automated abuse, or when the verified signer asks us to remove it.

If a signature is flagged before its optional survey is submitted, we may withdraw the survey invitation to protect the quality of aggregate results. Partial and completed survey responses are stored anonymously and cannot be traced back to an individual signature for later removal.

What petitions mean

A petition total is a record of confirmed support on this service. It does not guarantee a particular outcome, establish residency or identity beyond email confirmation or replace any formal public participation process.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but it may change or occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms as the project develops and will publish the current version here.
